Cirencester Town Football Club

Founded over 100 years ago, Cirencester Town currently has almost 400 junior players and has been formally recognised for its work as a community club.

In 2002, the club's new home, The Corinium Stadium, was opened on the edge of Cirencester, with three full-size pitches and four other junior pitches meaning the first team, juniors and ladies could be based on a single site.

In 2006 the club, which is owned by its members, achieved the coveted Charter Standard Community Club status, the most widely recognised standard in organised football.

Cirencester Town's first team plays at semi-professional level in The Evo-Stik League Southern Division 1 South & West, level four of the non-league football pyramid.

One of the club's main aims is to offer football at all levels to as many young people as possible. It also has a major objective of providing facilities and service of use to the local community and The Corinium offers a wide range of venues for a whole variety of social and corporate events.
