Amnesty International Cirencester Group

The Cirencester group is part of the international human rights organisation Amnesty International UK. Established in 1984, it is a small friendly group of individuals who are passionate about human rights.

Amnesty International campaigns to promote an increased awareness of human rights, and undertakes action to stop grave abuses of human rights wherever they occur.

The group organises a programme of speakers, workshops and films and also stages a number of fund-raising events including concerts, quizzes and its annual flag day.

Meetings are held monthly and for more information, email amnestycirencester@hotmail.co.uk or visit the group's website at www.amnesty.org.uk/groups/Cirencester
