Since May 2010, local man Edward Charnel has been running tours which look at the dark side of the charming Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water.
He regales walkers with tales of ghosts and witchcraft, local legends and superstitions, crime and punishment, and murder most foul.
Tours, lasting about 90 minutes, take place every Friday and Saturday with walkers meeting at the war memorial on the Village Green at 7pm.
Booking is advised and tickets are available from Bourton Tourist Information Centre.
