Frocester Cricket Club

Frocester Cricket Club is one of the top cricket clubs in Gloucestershire, fielding five teams on a Saturday, with the 1st and 2nd X1s playing in the top division of the West of England Premier League.

The 3rd X1 play in Division 2 of the Gloucestershire County League, whilst the 4th and 5th X1s play in the Stroud League.

With two delightful cricket grounds, Pounds Close and St Peters, playing or watching cricket at Frocester is always enjoyable.

The enviable youth structure consists of three U11 teams, two U13 teams and two U15 teams, with a developing women and girls section.

The social activities at the club are almost without parallel. Annual highlights include the Frocester Beer Festival, 34 years and still going strong, now solely run by the club, whilst the Summer Ball and Comedy Night are ever-popular.

The club is currently fund-raising for a new pavilion, with the intention of ensuring a successful long-term future. It is hoped that work will commence at the end of the 2015 season.
