Charlbury Art Society welcomes anyone with an interest in art, not just practising artists. Its objectives are to encourage art appreciation and artistic pursuits and to provide members with opportunities to exhibit their work. Membership is by annual subscription, currently £10. Members gain free entry to all the monthly evening meetings as well as discounts at a number of local businesses supplying artists materials and framing services. The society, which meets at Cirencester Parish Centre in Gosditch Street, has over 60 members and is open to all artists, whatever standard, including beginners.  There are monthly talks or demonstrations by professional and amateur artists and the society also operates two studio mornings each week where members can practise their skills in an informal environment.  One or two Art-based visits and outings are arranged during the year. There are opportunities to exhibit in two different local venues throughout the year and major exhibitions are mounted at a local venue…

Founded in 1969 the aims of the North Cotswold Arts Association are the fostering, promoting and enjoyment of the Arts. We are a lively and friendly art group who are interested in all the visual arts. Anyone with a love of developing their knowledge and skills is welcome, whether professional or beginner. We have regular monthly meetings at Broadwell Village Hall, near Stow-on-the-Wold, where we hold demonstrations, talks and practical session.
