Winchcombe Walkers are Welcome

Winchcombe is a member of the National Walkers are Welcome UK Network, a community-led approach to developing towns and villages with excellent walking facilities.

The Walkers are Welcome status helps strengthen a town’s reputation as a place for visitors to come and enjoy the outdoors, bringing benefits to the local economy.
We organise an annual Walking Festival, developed the 42-mile long distance Winchcombe Way, created an ‘accessible for all’ riverside path, publish downloadable walking routes, and drive many initiatives around the town to make Winchcombe a walker friendly town.

We strive to make your visit to "the walking capital of the Cotswolds" a memorable one together with some of the best maintained paths in the Cotswolds.
